Don’t forget the little ones. Here’s how to adjust your plan.
👶 Babies & Toddlers
Water for Formula
If you use formula, you need extra water. We recommend adding 0.5 gallons per day specifically for mixing formula and cleaning bottles.
Diapers & Hygiene
- Diapers: Plan for 8-10 per day for infants, 4-6 for toddlers.
- Wipes: One pack per week is a safe minimum.
- Comfort: A favorite blanket or toy is essential for stress reduction.
🐾 Pets
Food & Water
- Water: Plan for about 0.25 to 0.5 gallons per day per pet, depending on size.
- Food: Keep at least 3-7 days of dry food in an airtight container.
Evacuation Gear
- Sturdy leash and collar with ID tags.
- Carrier or crate for transport.
- Copy of vaccination records (kennels may require them).
